You backed Karen and me two years ago and helped make Grandmother Fish possible. Thank you! Now Karen and I are back on Kickstarter with another evolution project for kids and grownups. It's our card game, Clades, an animal-matching game in which players make matches based on the evolutionary history of the animals in the game. As one of our Grandmother Fish backers, you are the first to hear that our new Kickstarter is live. You can see our campaign at this URL. The video turned out great.

Two years ago you believed in the dream that Karen and I had. A year ago, your backing helped me publish a groundbreaking children's book. The publishing world in New York took notice, and now Grandmother Fish has been released all across the US and Canada. Soon it will be available in the UK and Australia, and an Italian translation is in the works. Already, two major newspapers are interested in covering Grandmother Fish, and more are sure to follow. You helped make all this happen, and whatever else might be going on in your life today I hope that you're happy and proud about having backed this book. Normally I'd ask you to spread the word on social media, but today I just want to say thanks.

Macmillan picks up Grandmother Fish

A vice president at MacMillan, Jean Feiwel, is picking up Grandmother Fish for her personal imprint, Feiwel & Friends! They are releasing the second edition in the fall! It's going to be big! Karen and I are ecstatic! People can pre-order the second edition right now. Here’s the official announcement on GeekDad.com, with links to pre-order sites.
Karen and I were a little worried about letting someone else handle Grandmother Fish, but Jean is great and Macmillan is going to do right by us and by the book.
In the Kickstarter video, my daughter thanks you for making my dream come true, and that’s exactly what is happening. The way in which we humans are related to all living things fills me with joy and wonder, and my dream was to bring this joy to little kids. Now that dream is coming true. Thank you for making Grandmother Fish possible. The names that backers provided will be listed in the book as thanks.
